These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, booking system, and participation in any of our training courses or consultancy services. By accessing our website or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read them carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not continue to use our website or services.

2. About Us

Setanta Safety & Training provides professional safety training and consultancy services across Ireland. Our core services include Safe Pass training, Manual Handling, First Aid Response (FAR), Abrasive Wheels, Working at Height, Lock Out/Tag Out (LoTo), and a wide range of safety consultancy solutions such as PSCS, PSDP, and Safety Management Systems.

3. Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms:

  • “Client” refers to any individual, company, or organisation purchasing or participating in our training or consultancy services.
  • “Course” refers to any training provided by Setanta Safety & Training, including in-person, on-site, or online sessions.
  • “Consultancy Services” refers to advisory or project-based safety management services provided to clients.

4. Booking and Payment

All bookings for courses or consultancy services must be made directly through our website, by phone, or via email. By making a booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.

  • Full payment is required prior to attending a course unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Invoices must be paid within the specified terms on the invoice.
  • We accept major payment methods including debit/credit cards and bank transfers.
  • Course prices are displayed in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable.

5. Course Attendance and Certification

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they meet all course requirements before attendance. Delegates must arrive on time, bring valid identification, and participate fully to receive certification.

Certification will only be issued once full payment has been received and all assessment criteria have been successfully completed.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made in writing at least 5 working days before the scheduled course date to qualify for a full refund or reschedule.
  • Cancellations made within 5 days of the course will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • No refund will be provided for non-attendance or failure to meet course requirements.
  • If a course is cancelled or rescheduled by Setanta Safety & Training, delegates will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

7. Rescheduling Policy

Clients may request to transfer their booking to another available date at least 3 working days prior to the original date. Transfer requests received after this period may incur an administrative fee.

8. Consultancy Services

Our consultancy services, including PSCS, PSDP, and Safety Management System implementation, are subject to separate contractual agreements. All consultancy work will be carried out in line with applicable health and safety legislation and project specifications.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate project information, site access, and any required documentation to support consultancy work.

9. Health and Safety

Delegates attending in-person training must comply with all site safety rules and instructions provided by our instructors. We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed unfit or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

10. Intellectual Property

All course materials, website content, and training resources remain the property of Setanta Safety & Training. Clients and delegates may not reproduce, distribute, or share any training materials without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

While we take every effort to deliver accurate and high-quality training, Setanta Safety & Training is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss resulting from course participation or consultancy advice.

Our total liability under any agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific service in question.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your information for training administration, certification, and communication purposes.

13. Website Usage

By using our website, you agree not to misuse or attempt to interfere with its security or functionality. Any unauthorised attempts to access data or disrupt services will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

14. Force Majeure

Setanta Safety & Training shall not be held liable for any delay or cancellation caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather conditions, instructor illness, power failures, or national emergencies.

15. Amendments

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect legal, operational, or service changes. The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
