The Safe Pass programme is a legal requirement for anyone working on construction sites in Ireland. It aims to raise safety standards and reduce accidents by ensuring that all workers have a foundational understanding of health and safety principles.
Who Needs It:
All construction workers—including general labourers, apprentices, delivery drivers, on-site security personnel, and even occasional site visitors—must hold a valid Safe Pass card to legally work on-site.
Aims of Solas Safe Pass programme are to:
Candidates for all Safe Pass courses must have a good knowledge and understanding of the English language, hold a valid Irish PPS Number and be 16 years of age.
Safe Pass Card is valid for 4 years from date of registration on course.
Course Duration:
One full day (typically 08.00 AM to 16:00 PM).
Certification:
Upon successful completion, participants receive a Safe Pass Registration Card,valid for 4 years.
